What guarantees do other builders offer?
From the 1st of January 2013 every new home comes with a 6 year structural guarantee. The guarantee is called the Fidelity Fund and is managed by the Master Builders Australia NT. This scheme is similar to the Home Warranty Insurance interstate. It is a compulsory requirement to have Residential Building Cover to obtain a building permit. The majority of builders in the Northern Territory will only offer this statutory guarantee, however Abode New Homes goes beyond the minimum legal requirement and offers the additional guarantee’s to show how serious we are about delivering what we promise.
